Ingredients
4 cups fresh raspberries
2-3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (optional, depending on the sweetness of the raspberries)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup water
Instructions
1. Prepare the Raspberries: Rinse the raspberries and pat them dry.
2. Blend: Place the raspberries, lemon juice, and water in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Taste the mixture and add maple syrup or honey if needed, blending again until fully incorporated.
3. Strain (Optional): If you prefer a smoother sorbet, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds.
4. Freeze: Pour the blended mixture into an airtight container. Place the container in the freezer for about 4-6 hours, or until the sorbet is firm. For best results, stir the mixture every hour to prevent ice crystals from forming.
5. Serve: When ready to serve, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. Scoop into bowls and Enjoy!
